BURWARTON SHOW - A great day out for all the family. Events and attractions all day long - from 8.15 a.m. - 7.00 p.m. Highly regarded as one of the best agricultural shows in the Region, the 2009 Burwarton Show will be held on Thursday 6th August 2009. EXCITING MAIN RING ENTERTAINMENT will include THE KANGAROO KID YE OLDE REDTAIL FALCONRY DISPLAY PAWS FOR THOUGHT DOG DISPLAY TEAM Burwarton Show provides a truly great day out for all the family with something of interest for everyone. We offer a wide variety of classes for heavy horses, cattle, sheep, horses & ponies and goats, horticultural, handicraft, children, cookery, young farmers and much more. Trade exhibits offer agricultural machinery, garden equipment, clothing, footwear, crafts, gifts.In addition, the Shopping Arcade, Craft Demonstration Marquee, local Food Court and Conservation area all offer a wide variety of interesting goods. Charles Jardine provides his ever popular fly casting demonstrations on the Mill Pool. The vintage tractor and engine displays are also a great attraction. The Village Green runs a programme of entertainment for the children throughout the day. . Dogs are allowed on the showground provided they are kept on leads at all times but are NOT allowed in any livestock area. Dogs are NOT allowed in the Members' pavillion unless they are specifically accompanying a visually impaired person.
