Your Membership of the Society helps support and promote the future of farming.

Membership is an expression of interest in and support of the aims and objectives  of the Burwarton & District Agricultural Society which include the promotion of agricultural and horticulture through the Annual Show; to demonstrate and entertain people with all aspects of farming, cultivation and management of land and allied trades, and to encourage better understanding between town and country through animal displays at the Annual Show.

Society Membership benefits include:

  • Entrance to the Showground
  • Use of the Members catering, grandstand and pavilion seating
  • Reserved forward car parking available until 11.30am or until full. Early arrival is recommended
  • Use of Members prestige toilet facilities
  • Registered Disabled Members enjoy their own car park which is situated adjacent to the Showground. A covered viewing area is provided adjacent to the Main Ring and adjacent to the Members Pavilion
  • Reduced entry fees for livestock classes
  • A copy of the Society’s Annual Report & Accounts
  • Invitation to the Society’s Annual General Meeting each January

Event Mobility provides electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired Members

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk, select Burwarton Show and follow the instructions, or contact the Event Mobility office on 01386 725391

Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by telephone

The Event Mobility stand with reserved mobility scooters is located adjacent to the Disabled Members Viewing marquee and NOT in any car park. Arrangements should be made for collection of mobility scooters direct from the stand.

Please indicate your Disabled Registration Number when applying for Disabled Membership.

All Society Membership subscriptions paid by Direct Debit will enjoy the pre-1st May rate.

The closing date for Membership applications is 12 July 2024

Any late applications will incur a £10 admin fee and will have to be collected from the Show Office

DOGS

Please be advised that whilst dogs are allowed on the Showground, visitors and exhibitors are encouraged to leave their dogs at home on Show Day. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in the Members’ pavilion or grandstand area except for assistance dogs for the visually impaired; a strict exclusion policy will be implemented in the livestock field for health & safety reasons.
