Membership
Why not become a Member of the Society and enjoy the many privileged facilities available on the show day?
Membership entitles you to the following:
- Entrance to the Showground.
- Use of the Members’ Catering, Grandstand and Pavilion Seating.
- Car Parking – Reserved forward parking available until 11.30 a.m. or until full – early arrival is recommended.
- Use of Members’ High Class Toilet Facilities
- Registered Disabled Members enjoy their own car park which is situated adjacent to the Showground. A covered viewing area will be provided adjacent to the Main Ring and very close to the Members’ Pavilion.
A limited number of mobility scooters will be available for hire direct from Event Mobility but must be booked in advance by contacting Sheena on 01386 725391 during Office hours.
Please indicate your Disabled Registration Number when applying for membership.
Membership of the Society is an expression of interest and support in the aims and objects of Burwarton & District Agricultural Society and includes the right to attend, take part in and vote at the Annual General Meeting. The Society will make no refund of Membership subscriptions in the event of a Show being cancelled for whatever reason.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
TWO adult members +TWO junior members (5-16 yrs) & 1 Venicle pass.
Additional Junior member badges can be purchased for £5.00 each.
£45.00 if purchased by 1 May 2012.
£47.00 from 1st May onwards.
DOUBLE MEMBERSHIP
TWO adults plus ONE vehicle pass.
£32.00 if purchased by 1 May 2012.
£34.00 from 1st May onwards.
SINGLE MEMBERSHIP
ONE adult plus ONE vehicle pass.
£20.00 if purchased by 1 May 2012.
£22.00 from 1st May onwards.
All Memberships paid by Direct Debit or Standing Order will enjoy the lower subscription rate.
N.B. CLOSING DATE FOR MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL BE 15 JULY 2012.
An additional £3.00 administration fee will be added to each membership received after the stated closing date of 15 July 2012.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WHILST DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHOWGROUND, WE WOULD ENCOURAGE OUR VISITORS AND EXHIBITORS TO LEAVE THEIR DOGS AT HOME ON SHOW DAY. DOGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE MEMBERS’ PAVILION OR GRANDSTAND AREA EXCEPT FOR GUIDE DOGS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND A STRICT EXCLUSION POLICY WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN THE LIVESTOCK FIELD FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS.
Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing a number of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for hire for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired Members of the Society. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair either print out an advance booking form from their website www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact their office on 01386 725391 to request a form be posted to you or email eventmobility@hotmail.co.uk
The charity operates entirely from the generosity of donations and any further contribution would be greatly appreciated.
